Brand
development and launch for Integral Digital Camera
Memory.

Overview: When
we were approached by one of Europe’s leading
manufacturers and distributors of computer memory
products to help develop a new high-street brand
called Integral, we pounced on the idea. We knew
straightaway this would be a high-visibility product
requiring dedicated branding exercise. Design2
were glad to be involved in the design and positioning
of the brand right from the concept stages. Through
our discussions and reviews, it was established
that the target audience would be in the 25 -
35 age bracket, well educated, interested in gadgets,
and have a disposable income. This helped us get
a very good feel for the product and its market,
and we set to work. We tried various colours,
tested its impact through mock-ups and internal
surveys, and decided on the eventual colours -
the Integral Purple and Green.
Additional work helped
us in the placement, art direction, photography
and packaging of the products. Since its launch,
Integral has been well received in all its markets,
and the client is already working on the launch
for Europe.
